In Italy, hotels are classified from 1 star to 5 star de luxe. Classifications are based on specific parameters such as staff, room sizes and facilities, with no consideration of atmosphere, individual interiors, etc.

Many hotels close for August, the month in which Milan reaches a low ebb of population and activity. Many people go on holiday in August. The population drops from 1.5 million to about 300,000 around 15th August.

The list on the right groups hotels depending on thier location. The hotels included in this list all distribute the printed version of Hello Milano. Where possible we have included details of website and e-mail from which you can obtain further information.
