Sunrise, Sunset.

The French writer Stendhal, a one time adoring resident, wrote of the beauty of Milan’s sky in the 1800s.
These days, amongst the buildings, the Milanese sky is a little more obscured, but it seems that the heavens have not lost their ability to impress.

The upper photo on the left shows a chilly winter morning sunrise. Thankfully this occurs much later in winter than in summer and hence didn’t require this photographer to leave her toasty bed too early in the morning in order to capture it.

The other below is the last rays a summer sunset where the orange of the sun has all but faded leaving but faint glow to light the quickly darkening sky.
