VCA (Vehicle Certification Agency)

opens a new office in Milan

The launch took place on the 11^th June 2008 at the office of the British Consul General in Milan and was well attended by industry representatives.  Consul General, Laurence Bristow-Smith introduced VCA and CEO, Paul Markwick, went on to speak of his hopes for the future.  VCA already supports a number of organisations in the region and it is planned that a dedicated presence in Milan will provide an even more responsive service, in tune with the Italian culture.

VCA – is part of the UK Department for Transport and is the UK type approval authority.  In addition, VCA offers certification to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO/TS 16949, OHSAS 18001, EMAS and Acorn.  Part of a global operation, VCA has its HQ in the UK, with other offices in North America, Japan, Malaysia, China and India.  VCA has an enviable client base ranging from SMEs to multi-nationals such as the Ford Motor Company, Visteon, Honda, Toyota, Tata Motors, Proton, Iveco, Perodua, Aprillia etc.  To find out more visit www.vca.gov.uk
